教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材(中等职业学校公共基础课程教材)《英语基础模块1》中Unit 8 People and Events的热身(Warming Up)和听说(Listening and Speaking)板块,热身环节关联学生已有的百科知识储备,听力活动用蔡伦的造纸术为主题,引出口语表达讨论最喜欢的发明。通过任务型教学,要求学生能交流关于重要人物与事件的看法,并能谈论最喜欢的事物。
学情分析 学生对生活中的重大事件和重要人物有各自的知识储备,会一些英语的相关表达,预习过程也可让其作更多准备。在做蔡伦的听力主题和谈论最喜欢的发明时,能完成大多数的任务,但由于词汇量的不足和语言组织能力较薄弱,还需在学习和练习中掌握更多,练习得更扎实。提高听说能力,增强人类文明共同体意识。
学习目标 知识目标: 1.Learn some words and phrases: design/the method of paper-making/invent/invention/chat with/ take selfies/ebook reader/ compass/ speed up the development/related to. 2.Learn relevant sentence patterns, such as:What’s your favorite .../I like...best/Why do you like it most /Is it also your favorite... /I can do a lot of things with it ,such as.../I can’t live without.../They have changed our life a lot./I hope someday I can... 能力目标: Understand the relevant discussions about historical figures and events and be able to obtain relevant information;
Exchange views on important figures and events. 情感目标: Be able to talk about preferences and express the reasons.
学习重难点 教学重点:Be able to discuss school study, life activities and schedules. 教学难点:Be proficient in using sentence patterns about views on important figures and events as well as those for talking about preferences.

Step 1: Warming up 1.Lead in. Talk about some famous people,such as 屠呦呦,詹天佑,蔡伦and so on. Answer some questions : Why do you think he or she is famous or important What achievements has he or she made 2.conclude:They influenced us and our lives. 3.look and match Match the following people or cities with the corresponding times and pictures. 4.Read and guess. Read the riddles and let's see who can guess the answers first. Step 2: Listening 1.Listen and tick. Guide the students to read the text content and predict what they might hear according to the reading content. 2.Listen and choose. Guide the students to read the questions and determine the information that needs to be recorded.The teacher calls on students to check and gives feedback. Guide the students to read the mind map and determine the information that needs to be recorded. Check and give feedback. 4.Show the dialogue. Retell the original text of the listening material and check the information they have obtained from the listening. Step 3: Dialogue learning Listen、read and underline. 1)Ask the students to read the dialogue and listen to the recording. Read the dialogue in pairs, underline the sentences for discussing preferences and their reasons. Then check the answers and summarize the sentence structures. 2)The teacher briefly explains the following key phrases and sentence patterns. Improve students' ability to transfer language knowledge and oral expression skills into practical contexts.
