考点 1:fit /f t/ adj. 健康的;健壮的 v. 适合
【用法】
fit 作形容词,意为“健康的”,同义词是 healthy,第三人称单数形式是 fits。
通常放在 be, look, keep, stay... 等词的后面。
fit 还可作动词,意为“适合”,既可作及物动词,也可作不及物动词,一般不用于进行时态。其主语通常是表示衣服、鞋袜等的名词或代词。
fit 作形容词,还有“(质量、素质或技能) 适合的、合格的”的意思,
be fit for 适合…… fit 还可作动词,意为“安装,安置”。
【例句】
He often does sports, so he looks very fit.
他经常做运动,因此看起来很健康。
This pair of shoes fits you well. 这双鞋很适合你。
Your dress fits well. 你的连衣裙很合身。
These books are fit for the children under 10.
这些书适合 10 岁以下的孩子们。

【用法】
hardly 否定副词,“几乎不”,在句中位于be动词、助动词、情态动词之后,行为动词之前。用来强调某种情况发生的可能性非常小或者某种行为的程度很低。本身具有否定意义,用于否定句时不再使用其他否定词。
常构成短语 hardly ever,表示频度,意为“几乎从不”。

【例句】
He could hardly speak. 他几乎说不出话来。
I hardly ever practise running. 我几乎从不练习跑步。
She works very hard. 她工作很努力。

hardly 一词与 hard 没有任何关系,并不是其变化形式。

【用法】
once 作副词,意为“一次”。常用来回答 how often 的提问。
e.g. once a week 一周一次;once a month 一月一次;once a year 一年一次
英语中“一次”为 once; “两次”为 twice;“三次或三次以上” 用“基数词 + times”,
e.g. three times,five times。
once 作副词,还可意为“曾经”,表示不确定的时间,常用于一般过去时。
一般位于行为动词之前,系动词之后。
once 常用于讲故事中,意为“从前”。
at once 固定短语,意为“立刻;马上”
速记小法:

【用法】
twice adv. 意为“两次”。
twice a week 意为“每周两次”,表示频率。常用 how often 来提问。
think twice 意为“再三考虑”。
twice 作副词,还可意为“两倍”。
常用于句型:主语 +be / 实义动词 + twice + as + 形容词/ 副词+ as +...。

I go to the gym twice a week. 我每周去两次健身房。
Mary always thinks twice before making any important decision.
玛丽在做出任何重要决定之前总是再三考虑。

【用法】
mine 是名词性物主代词,它具有名词的性质,表示物品的所属关系,可作主语、宾语、表语等,同样的单词还有:yours, hers, his, ours, theirs, its。
名词性物主代词相当于形容词性物主代词加上名词。
知识小结:第一人称的单数形式:
① I 主格,作主语 me 宾格,作宾语、表语
② my 形容词性物主代词,作定语
③ mine 名词性物主代词,作表语、宾语、主语
④ mine 还可以作名词用,意为“矿”。
考点 5:mine /ma n/ pron. 我的
【例句】
This book is mine. =This is my book. 这本书是我的。
There is a mine in our village. 在我们村有一个矿。
考点 6:maybe /'me bi/ adv. 也许;大概
辨析:maybe 与 may be maybe 副词,意思是“或许;大概;可能”,表示不确定,在句中作状语,可以放在句首、句尾,也可以单独使用。
may be may 是情态动词,may be 是“情态动词+ 动
词原形”结构,在句中作谓语,意为“可能是”。
合并作状语,分开作谓语。舍 maybe 仍有意,丢 may be 可不成。
考点 6:maybe /'me bi/ adv. 也许;大概
【例句】
Maybe he is right. 或许他是对的。
He maybe wants to stay here. 他或许想留在这儿。
He may be at home. = Maybe he is at home. 他可能在家。
考点 7:keep fit 保持健康
【用法】
keep + adj. 保持……
keep + sb./sth. + adj. 使某人/ 某物保持某种状态
keep(sb./sth.) doing sth. 让(某人/ 某物) 一直做某事
keep 还可意为“保留”,及物动词。 keep sth. 保留某物
考点 7:keep fit 保持健康
【例句】
It is very important for us to keep fit.

Keep quiet, please. 请保持安静!
To keep cool, he keeps the fan working all the time.
为了保持凉爽,他让风扇一直转。

【用法】 hardly ever 表频率,其表达的含义与“almost never”相近。其中“ever”为副词,意为“在任何时间,从来;曾经”,起强调作用。
【例句】
I hardly ever eat such delicious food.
我几乎从未吃过这么好吃的食物。
He hardly ever gets up so early.
他几乎从没有起这么早过。
考点 9:how often 多久一次;多长时间一次
【用法】how often 多久一次,用来提问动作发生的频率。
常用表示频率的词或短语作答。
由 how 构成的其他疑问短语的用法:

【句型结构分析】
此句是Whose 引导的特殊疑问句。Whose 在此作限定词,意为“谁的”,放在名词前作定语,一般用于谈论物品的所属关系。
考点 10:Whose baseball glove is it 这是谁的棒球手套?
辨析:whose 与 who’s 相同点 不同点
whose 发音 一样 whose 作定语,后面既可以跟名词单数,也可以跟名词复数,系动词要与名词单复数保持一致。
who’s who’s 是 who is 的缩写,意思是“谁是”。
【句型结构分析】
Whose 引导的特殊疑问句的基本句型结构是“Whose + 名词 + 系动词 +主语 ”。回答通常用名词性物主代词(mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs, its) 或名词所有格(Li Ming’s...) 。
对物主代词或名词所有格提问通常用whose。
(1) 被提问部分作定语时,用“Whose + 名词+系动词+主语?”提问。
(2) 被提问部分作表语时,用“Whose +系动词+主语?”提问。
