一、基本含义及用法
1. 拿走/带走/取走什么东西，持有或携带某物
take a book，take an ipad：带一本书/平板。
例句：I'm going to take an ipad to read on the plane. （我打算带一个平板在飞机上阅读。）
take sth. with sb. 随身携带某物。
例如：“Take your umbrella with you, it might rain.”（带上你的伞，可能会下雨。）
take a suitcase：拿一个行李箱。
例句：Please make sure to take your suitcase when you leave. （你离开时请确保带上你的行李箱。）

2、买下、购买
例如：I'll take it. ：我买了。
“I'll take the red shirt.”（我要买那件红色的衬衫。）
3、接受、接纳
take advice ：接受建议。
例如：“He took my advice and improved his grades.”（他接受了我的建议，提高了成绩。）
4、乘坐交通工具：
take a bus/train/plane ：乘公共汽车/火车/飞机。
例如：“My father usually takes a train to work.”（我父亲通常乘火车去上班。）
5、采取行动
take a walk：散步。
例句：I like to take a walk after dinner. （我喜欢晚饭后散步。）
take a break：休息一下。
例句：Let's take a break and have some tea or coffee. （我们休息一下，喝点茶或咖啡吧。）
take action：采取行动。
例句：We have to take action to solve this problem. （我们需要采取行动来解决这个问题。）
6. 进行某种活动
take a shower：洗澡。
例句：I'll take a shower before bed. （我睡前要洗个澡。）
take a swim：游泳。
例句：Do you want to take a swim in the lake （你想在湖里游泳吗？）
take a photo：拍照。
例句：Can you take a photo of us together （你能给我们拍张合影吗？）
Take a chance（冒险）
Take a nap（小憩）
Take a rain check（延期）
7. 花费时间
典型常用句型： It takes sb. +时间+to do sth. 做某事花了某人多少时间。
例：It took them two years to build this road. 他们用了两年时间修完了这条路。
take time：花费时间。
例句：Learning a new language takes time. （学习一门新语言需要时间。）
take a while：花费一些时间。
例句：It will take a while to finish this project. （完成这个项目需要一些时间。）
8. 服药、吃药、接受或接受某种疗法
take medicine：吃药。
例句：Remember to take your medicine regularly. （记得定期吃药。）
take a pill：吃药片。
例句：I need to take a pill before bed. （我睡前需要吃药片。）
二、固定搭配及用法
1. take aback：使惊讶，使惊愕。
例句：The sudden news took him aback. （这突如其来的消息让他惊愕不已。）
2. take after：与（某人）相像，遗传（某人的特征）。
例句：She takes after her mother with her musical talent. （她遗传了她母亲的音乐天赋。）
3. take against：对…产生反感，对…有偏见。
例句：He took against the new teacher from the first lesson. （他从第一节课起就对这位新老师产生了反感。）
4. take apart：拆开，拆散。
例句：She enjoys taking apart old machines to see how they work. （她喜欢拆开旧机器看看它们是怎么工作的。）
5. take away：带走，减去。
例句：The teacher took away our phones during the exam. （考试期间，老师把我们的手机收走了。）
6. take back：收回（说过的话），退回（物品）。
例句：I take back what I said earlier; I was too harsh. （我收回刚才说的话，我说得太苛刻了。）
7. take down：记下，拆除。
例句：Could you take down these notes for the meeting （你能把这些会议的笔记记下来吗？）
8. take for：认为，误以为。
例句：She took me for a tourist and offered directions. （她误以为我是游客，给我指了路。）
9. take from：从未…中取得，从…中减去。
例句：The money was taken from his account. （钱是从他的账户里取走的。）
10. take in：吸收，理解，欺骗。
例句：It’s hard to take in all this information at once. （一下子吸收这么多信息很难。）
11. take off：脱下，起飞，迅速成功。
例句：The plane is scheduled to take off at 8 PM. （飞机定于晚上8点起飞。）
12. take on：承担，接受（工作或责任）。
例句：She’s taking on too much work lately. （她最近承担了太多的工作。）

13. take out：取出，带某人出去。
例句：He took out a loan to buy a new car. （他贷款买了一辆新车。）
14. take out on：把怒气发泄在…上。
例句：He took out his frustration on his friends. （他把他的挫败感发泄在了朋友身上。）
15. take over：接管，接任。
例句：A new manager is going to take over the project next month. （下个月将有一位新经理接管这个项目。）
16. take to：开始喜欢，开始习惯。
例句：He’s taken to his new school quite quickly. （他很快就适应了新学校。）
17. take up：开始从事，占用（时间或空间）。
例句：She took up painting as a hobby. （她把绘画当作爱好。）
18. take up with：开始与…交往，开始喜欢。
例句：He’s taken up with a new group of friends. （他开始和一群新朋友交往。）
