Just then, an old man sitting beside me noticed my pale face. He gently touched me on the shoul
der and asked what was wrong. I told him my situation weakly. Without hesitation, the old man reach
ed into his bag and took out a bottle of water and some medicinc. He handed them to me with a war
m smile and said, “Here, young man. This might help you feel better.” I was so moved that I
could hardly say a word. I took the medicine and drank some water. Gradually, my discomfort started
to disappcar.
As the bus continued its journey, the old man began sharing stories of his youth. He spoke of
working as a traveling doctor, meeting people from all walks of life. Each story was filled with warmt
h and wisdom, painting vivid pictures in my mind. His voice was calm and soothing,making the long
hours on the bus feel shorter. I found myself forgetting my earlier discomfort,captivated by his tales.
By the time we reached our destination, I felt not only physically better but also enriched by his kindn
ess and the memories he shared.
