The people in the large picture are in Shanghai. We can see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower by the side of the Huangpu River. Some people are rowing and many are standing next to the river. The smaller picture is Toronto, as can be seen by the large sign saying “TORONTO”.
2. Can you explain how it can
be daytime in one city when it is nighttime in another city
Because the earth rotates around the sun. When the sun shines on one side (daytime), it is dark on the other side (night- time).
