Before the festival, a list of ocean s 3 have already been chosen. Waterproof (防水的) speakers are used during the festival. They are hung from boats floating (漂浮) above the reef. Music is piped underwater through those speakers. In fact, sound travels 4.3 times f 4 through water than in the air. That makes the experience so unique. Participants (参加者) dive into the water. Some are dressed up as mermaids (美人鱼), rock stars or even SpongeBob. Others pretend (假装) to play different kinds of m 5 instruments underwater.
It is said that the sound is not loud, but very c 6 , and that the music can be felt through the body and not just through the ears.

One common way is using meteorological instruments such as thermometers and barometers. These tools can provide accurate m 15 of temperature and pressure, which help meteorologists (气象学家) make their forecasts. In addition, weather satellites play a crucial r 16 in observing the atmosphere from space, providing real-time data about cloud patterns and storms.
Another method is looking at natural signs in the environment. For example, many farmers believe that certain animal behaviours can be indicators of upcoming weather changes. If birds fly lower than usual, it might mean a storm is c 17 . Similarly, some people notice that when the sky turns a particular shade of red at sunset, it often indicates good weather the next day.
Moreover, meteorologists also use computer models to simulate atmospheric conditions. These computer-generated simulations help predict weather patterns by analyzing vast amounts of data. A 18 these models can be complex, they provide valuable insights into what the weather might be like in the future.
Lastly, weather forecasting often involves a combination of these methods. By using different approaches, meteorologists can increase the a 19 of their predictions. Whether it’s through technology or observing nature, understanding how to do weather prediction is e 20 for planning our daily activities and staying safe.

The Colorado River is a big and important river in America. Now it’s having a problem. Can you guess what it is
The problem is that the river is r 77 out of water! This happens when there’s not enough rain or s 78 for a long time. We call this a drought. During a drought, there’s not e 79 water for everyone and everything that needs it.
Some people say that the weather is changing q 80 in ways we didn’t expect, and this is making droughts w 81 . We call this c 82 change. It’s affecting our water resources, like the Colorado River.
To help the Colorado River, there’s a big plan c 83 the “Central Canal”. It’s like a big pipe that will b 84 water from the river to places in Mexico that need it. This way, both America and Mexico can have enough water.
My name is Lucy. I am a student. I have many hobbies. I like r 85 books. I think reading can make me know more about the world. I often go to the library at weekends. There are many books there. I also like drawing. I can draw many beautiful pictures. I want to be an artist in the future.
In my school, there are many rules. We must f 86 them. We should arrive at school on time. We can’t be l 87 . In the classroom, we should keep q 88 and listen to the teacher carefully. We should keep the classroom clean and t 89 . We can’t litter.

What does it mean to be green Green is more than just a c 91 . It also means taking steps to protect the environment. Buying a green product is a small step everyone can take. D 92 whether a product is green, however, isn’t always easy. We need to consider the whole life cycle of the product even after it’s of no use. Here is what we may keep in mind.
The materials (材料) of a product are usually our first focus. What is it made of Are there any harmful chemicals (化学物质) in it Green products are made of more natural materials which has n 93 harmful chemicals, so they can be good for our health.
Packaging (包装) is important. How is a product packaged Is it over-packaged We’d better choose glass, metal and paper packaging as these can be r 94 or more easily recycled. We can also look for less packaging or even choose unbagged products whenever possible.
L 95 matters. Where was a product produced Where are we buying it Think about how much energy was used to get it to us. When it comes to food, it is a good idea to order directly from local farmers and shop at markets. Buying from stores near our houses is also a good choice because we can go there w 96 driving a car.
Look into what the company tells us about their product. It’s easy to say that a product is “green” or “all natural” but the words may be too g 97 to be true. So, much of the information about a product should be taken with a grain of salt.
The greenest thing is certainly the one we don’t buy. Things like f 98 and clothing are necessary for life. But many others are not. Better than buying is choosing to leave an unnecessary product in the store. It sends a message to the producer, keeps money in our pockets, reduces waste and keeps the planet healthy.
