Tea
Tea has been grown and drunk for thousands of years and is still very popular around the world today. Tea plants are short bushes, as can be seen in the photo. The leaves are picked, then dried and processed further. There are several different types of tea, such as black and green, which often come from the same plant, but with a different production process.

What is an auxiliar verb
It is a verb that supports a main verb in a sentence.
What is the auxiliar verb in 1d
The auxiliar verb “do” is an essential component of the simple past tense in question and negative sentences. All subjects take the auxiliary “did” with the base form of the main verb.
e.g. A: What did you do last night
B: I didn’t go to bed until midnight!
It was great.
How was Peter’s weekend
What did he do
Well, he visited the science museum. He went to an exhibition and learnt how astronauts live and work.
It was terrible.
How was Teng Fei’s weekend
What did he do
Teng Fei tried to help tourists but gave wrong directions. And he made a mistake to get on the wrong bus. This made Teng Fei late to meet friends. On top of that, Teng Fei left a book on the bus. It was a really terrible day for Teng Fei.
Interview your partner. One student plays the role of a reporter, and the other student acts as Peter or Teng Fei. The former interviews the latter, who talks about their experience from the previous weekend.
Reporter: Hi, Peter! How was your weekend
Peter: It was Great! I visited the science museum.
Reporter: What did you do there
Peter: There was a space exhibition. Some rooms looked like
parts of a space station. I went inside and saw how
astronauts live and work. It was really amazing!
Reporter: Any other interesting things
Peter: Yes! There were robots. I asked one robot a question,
and it answered me.
Reporter: Cool!
Reporter: Teng Fei, how was your last weekend
Teng Fei: Terrible! Many bad things happened.
Reporter: Oh no! What happened
Teng Fei: First, some tourists asked me the way to the history museum. I gave them wrong directions. After they left, I knew it. Then I got on the wrong bus, so I was late to meet my friends. And I left my book on the bus!
Reporter: Oh no! That’s really a bad weekend.

周末过得怎么样?

辅音字母c的发音规律
(1)辅音字母c在元音字母e、i或y前,常发/s/,
e.g. nice、 advice、center、city、cycle、fluency
(2)辅音字母c在以下情况中常发/k/:
A. 在元音字母a、o、u前
e.g. car、cabbage、cost、second、cover、cup、cut、culture
B.在辅音字母前
e.g. act、attract、physics、picnic、picture、practice
C.在单词末尾时
e.g. music、basic、historic、magic
辅音字母g的发音规律
(1) 辅音字母g一般发/g/
e.g. goal、grade、jog、hungry、progress

(1)字母x一般发/ks/
