All the sentences use the present progressive tense (现在进行时). Now, let's learn more about it.
一、现在进行时的含义
(1) I am reading in a library right now.
(2) Jack is swimming in the river now.
(3) Listen! They are singing an English song.
听！他们正在唱一首英文歌。
Jack正在河里游泳。
我正在图书馆读书。
1. 现在进行时表示现在(说话时)正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
语法概述
look, listen（表瞬间动作的感官动词）
now, right now....
at eight, at this/the moment... （具体的时间点）
根据语境 ：
Be quiet!She is sleeping.
—Where is Mike
—He is doing his homework.
时间标志词
(1) We are studying birds for Bird Week at school.
2. 现在进行时也可表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态(说话时不一定在进行)。常带有these days, this week, this month, this term等时间状语。
我们（这周）正在为学校鸟类主题周学习鸟类知识。
(2) We are not working on a farm these days.
这些天我们不在农场工作。
(3) I'm writing a long novel these days.
我最近在写一部长篇小说。
注意1：现在进行时可以表示频繁发生或反复进行的动作,常与always这一频度副词连用,以表示赞扬或讨厌等情感。
(1) Tom is always boasting.
汤姆总是说大话。(表达讨厌)
(2) Jim is always caring for others.
吉姆总是关心别人。(表达赞扬)
注意2：现在进行时除表示现在之外,还可以表示即将发生的动作,有“意图”“安排”“打算”的含义,多用于go、come、leave、arrive 等表示位置移动的动词。
(1) Wait!I’m coming.
等等!我来了
(2) Tom is leaving for Beijing.
汤姆即将动身去北京。
(3) He's watching a film.
(1) They're having breakfast.
(2) I'm doing my homework.
二、现在进行时的结构
主语
V-ing
be动词(am/is/are)
① We use "am + the -ing form of a verb" with the subject ____.

现在进行时的用法
主语在句首，am/is/are跟着走；
现在分词随其后，其他成分不可丢。
表示动作正进行，句中now把时间定。
一般问句如何变，把be提到主语前。
否定式更简单，be后只把not添。
句中提问v-ing，what 和be放句首。

现在进行时与一般现在时的区别
一般现在时表示经常性、习惯性的动作，谓语动词为原形或第三人称单数形式，标志性词常为usually, often, sometimes, on Monday, every day等。
现在进行时表示现在正在进行或发生的动作。谓语动词为be + v-ing, 标志性词常为now, right now, at the moment等。
