A report published on Friday said by the end of 2017, 4.24 million Chinese students had studied or were studying overseas since the country opened to the world in 1978.
Short-term overseas study tours, or micro study tours, usually lasts for 2-3 weeks, where students have a taste of studying abroad by going to world-famous universities, living in a dorm or host family and attending courses that are relevant to that university.
