中考范文背记
一、（2024河北中考）假定英语课上你们正在就“课堂表现”开展同伴互评活动，下面是你的同伴张军的自我课堂表现记录(Class Record)，请你根据记录内容写一篇短文，总结他五个方面的课堂表现并进行简单评价，然后就他需要改进的两个方面提出建议。

Reading—a Lifelong Journey
As we know, reading plays an important role in our life. We can get knowledge and learn many skills from books. Besides, we can develop interests through reading and make our life colourful.
There are many kinds of books we can read, such as great books, science books and even newspapers. Magazines about study are also good choices for us.
We can read books in our free time, and it’s a good idea to choose a quiet place to read books, like the library. While reading, it’s necessary to take notes and write reviews. We can certainly share them with our friends in the club.
In my opinion, reading is a lifelong journey. We can see the world in the books. Let’s read together.

A Person Who Changes Me a Lot
In the past three years, my English teacher Mrs. Xu have played an important role in my life. She changes me a lot.
Mrs. Xu is a kind teacher who always has a smile on her face. When I was a seventh-grade student, I was weak in English. I was afraid of speaking English in front of the classmates. She encouraged me to take part in an English speech competition and gave me some advice on how to learn English well. With her help, I finished the speech successfully and won the third place. From then on, I became interested in English and made great progress.
Thank to her, I realize that I should face the difficulties bravely. As long as I work hard, I will succeed.

Duanwu Festival — A celebration of patriotism
Duanwu Festival is also called the Dragon Boat Festival. It is one of the most important and traditional festivals in China. It falls on the lunar May fifth. People all across China eat rice dumplings and dragon boat races are held in many places to remember a great ancient patriotic poet Qu Yuan.
Qu Yuan sacrificed for his country, which showed us the spirit of patriotism. People’s dragon boat racing is closely related to honor Qu Yuan.
As a teenager, I believe it is our duty and responsibility to fight for the prosperity and strength of our motherland. First, by working hard in our studies, we can make a big difference to the development of our country. Second, taking action to protect the earth, we also can be a better person and it is good for our country.

Making Better Use of Time
As a junior high school student, I have got more free time in recent years. I am always free on weekends.
When I have free time, I will try my best to make it meaningful. I spend half a day reading books at home. I think we can learn more about the world by reading. I also help with the housework twice a week. On Sunday, I often go to the park with my friends to play football. Doing sports can make us stronger and healthier. Sometimes, my parents and I look at the stars outside.
I think my free time is better used because I do what I want to do and I balance study and entertainment.

Last week, our school carried out Fire Safety Day activities. The purpose was to draw our attention to fire safety. Among the activities, how to use a fire extinguisher interested me most.
When we use a fire extinguisher, we should first shake it after picking it up, and then pull off the safety pin quickly. As soon as we point the tube at the root of the fire, we are expected to press down on the handle until we put out the fire. During the period, we should be careful enough not to get hurt.
From the activities I’ve learned a lot and realized the importance of fire safety.
