【用法】
① ride 作动词，意为“骑；乘”，
常用搭配：ride a bike 骑自行车； ride a horse 骑马。
② ride 能与介词 in 或 on 连用，表示一种状态，意为“坐/ 骑在”。
③ ride 还可以作名词，意为“(乘车或骑车的) 短途旅程”。
常用搭配：go for a ride 乘车兜风； give sb. a ride 捎某人一程。

【用法】
right now 的不同含义：
① 意为“现在”，同义短语为 at the moment，常用于一般现在时或现在进行时。
② 意为“立刻，马上”。
同义短语为at once/ right away/in a m inute/ in no time。

【用法】

for a moment 片刻，一会儿；暂时
wait a moment 等一会儿；稍等一下
just a moment 等一会儿，稍等一下

【用法】
work on 是一个常用短语，意为“从事于；致力于”，
通常用来描述某人正在进行的活动或任务。
work on 后面通常跟名词或动名词（即动词的-ing 形式），
表示正在进行的工作或活动。

【句式分析】
此句为现在进行时的特殊疑问句。What 是疑问代词，主语是you，right now 是时间状语，属于“特殊疑问词+ be (am, is, are) + 主语+ doing + 其他？” 结构。
【句式结构】
① 现在进行时的特殊疑问句句式结构：特殊疑问词+ am/is/are + 主语+ 动词的-ing 形式 + 其他
② 回答时，通常使用 “主语+ be 动词+ 动词的-ing+ 其他”的形式。
③ be 动词要与主语的人称一致。

【例句】

—I’m watching TV. 我正在看电视。
—What is your sister doing at the moment
你姐姐此刻在做什么？
—She is reading a book. 她正在读书。

【句式分析】
这句话是 Could you... 句式，用于委婉地提出请求。Could 是情态动词，比can 更委婉、客气，you是主语，tell 是谓语动词，him/her 是宾语，to call me back 是宾语补足语。
【句式结构】
Could you… 意为“你能……吗？”，用来表示委婉的请求。

考点 7：Could I speak to…, please
【句式分析】
这句话是 Could I... 句式，属于“情态动词 +主语 + 动词原形 +其他？”结构，意为“我能……吗？”，是请求对方允许自己做某事的句型。Could 是情态动词，主语为I，speak 是谓语动词。
【句式结构】
Could l speak to...please 意为“请问我能和……通话吗 ”是打电话的常用语相当于“May I speak to... please ”。
could 是情态动词，用在句子开头表示请求，不表示过去，语气比can更委婉。
