rise在此处为“起源；发源”的意思。
run常用来描述“流经”或“延伸”;
it runs through ...它穿过/流经……
run all the way to... 一直延伸到/流到……
what引导的感叹句，完整句型为 What a long river (it is)! it is 可省略，等同于How long the river is!
Some和any作定语时，既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词，但 some 常用于肯定句中，any一般用于疑问句和否定句中。
