These digital identities, known as avatars, are a key part of how people use the Internet to communicate and express themselves.
这些数字身份，也就是虚拟形象，是人们如何使用网络和别人沟通，表达自己的关键。
注意： 1. 在含有条件状语从句和时间状语从句的复合句中， 从句的谓语常用一般过去时表示过去将来时。
eg. I didn't know when she would come, but when she came I would let you know.

2.was/were+doing表示过去将来时时，仅限于go,come, leave,start,take off等趋向性（短语）动词。
