资源简介 Unit 5 Here and NowSection B (1a~1d)教学设计一、教学内容分析本课时为阅读课,阅读文本包含引言和三段视频脚本。引言部分介绍说明了接下来要介绍的内容,即此时此刻世界各地不同时区正在发生什么事,人们在做什么。三个视频脚本是三位来自中国重庆、肯尼亚内罗毕、美国纽约的视频博主分别介绍当地人的生活。三段视频脚本都是先介绍当地的时间和地点,然后描述此时此刻正在发生的事情和人们的活动。通过本课时的学习,学生可以了解同一时间内处于不同时区的人们的不同生活状态,拓宽学生的全球视野和文化视野,培养学生的想象力。二、语篇分析【What】 本单元的阅读文本可分为两大部分:引言和三段视频脚本。第一段是引言,说明接下来要介绍的内容,即此时此刻世界各地不同时区正在发生什么事,人们在做什么。接着,三位来自中国重庆、肯尼亚内罗毕、美国纽约的视频博主分别介绍当地人的生活。三段视频脚本都是先介绍当地的时间和地点,然后描述此时此刻正在发生的事情和人们的活动。 【Why】 虽然三段脚本篇幅不长,但内容丰富,图文并茂,不仅生动地展现了当地人的生活风貌,还融入了当地独特的地理环境、资源和文化特色。例如:重庆的江景、美食(火锅和面条);非洲的野生动物资源,人与动物毗邻而居;纽约街头的黄色出租车,在中央公园里锻炼的人们等。教材之所以采用播客文本的形式,是为了体现叙述的现场感,能够更自然地融入现在进行时。对比呈现重庆、内罗毕和纽约三个城市,是因为它们处于不同的时区,便于体现在同一个时间内处于不同时区的人的不同生活状态,以激发学生的学习兴趣,拓宽他们的全球视野和文化视野,培养他们的想象力。 【How】 该文章呈现清晰的总—分语篇结构:开篇以提问总起,引出“不同时区现状”主题,随后分别聚焦重庆、内罗毕、纽约,形成并列式分述结构。语篇衔接上,通过重复的段落模式(“It’s... in + 地点”开头)构建统一性,搭配现在进行时(are rushing,are enjoying等)贯穿全文,强化“此刻正在发生”的时间主线。词汇层面,使用“such as”举例丰富内容,地点名词(Chongqing,Nairobi等)明确空间维度。功能上,通过描述不同城市人群活动(工作、购物、休闲等),既传递跨地域生活场景,也满足读者对“全球不同时空动态”的认知需求,语篇逻辑连贯,信息传达直观,实现说明与描述的双重功能。三、学情分析学生在本单元前三个课时的学习过程中,已经学会了一部分谈论正在进行的活动的词汇和短语,同时也学习了如何询问某人正在做的事情,能够正确使用现在进行时对自己此刻进行的活动进行问答练习,这为本课的学习打下了语言基础。但是学生对于全球范围内,同一时间,由于时区不同,人们的生活状态不同缺乏了解。本节课从三位博主的视频脚本中,引导学生了解同一个时间内不同时区的人们的不同生活状态,拓宽学生的全球视野和文化视野。四、教学目标通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 1. 通过观察重庆、内罗毕、纽约的城市图片和时钟图,理解三个城 市的时间差异,并能根据这些线索对不同城市的人们的生活作出合理猜测; 2. 通过阅读三段视频脚本,了解三座城市里人们正在进行的各种活动以及各具特色的城市风貌,完成表格; 3. 通过理解作者对人物活动进行对比与举例的写作手法,掌握Some… Others…/such as等结构的用法并尝试加以使用; 4. 了解中外国家与城市不同的生活风貌,丰富文化知识。五、教学重难点【重点】 1. 通过观察重庆、内罗毕、纽约的城市图片和时钟图,理解三个城市的时间差异,并能根据这些线索对不同城市的人们的生活作出合理猜测; 2. 通过阅读三段视频脚本,了解三座城市里人们正在进行的各种活动以及各具特色的城市风貌,完成表格。 【难点】 进一步落实有关于描述人们正在从事的活动的相关表达法,能够运用重点单词和句型谈论不同国家和城市中不同人的生活风貌,掌握通过从语篇中梳理、比较和提取有关于人物活动的重点信息的阅读技巧和对人物活动进行对比和举例的写作手法。六、教学活动设计环节一:创设情境,复习旧知。(5 mins) 教师引导学生看图片,描述图片中人物正在干什么以及自己在某一时刻正在干什么。教学活动 活动层次 效果评价Students look at the pictures and describe what they are doing.
