Suggested Answers:
1. “Just-me-ism” is a way of thinking that focuses on caring for just oneself and ignores the environment, animals and the community.
2. There will be nobody to care and look after the environment.
3. A solution would be to make them understand that even the smallest action can change the world, so they should take actions whenever possible for the environment, animals and their community. For example, they should turn the tap off when brushing their teeth, turn the light off when they leave a room and pick up even little pieces of litter they dropped on the road.

Take action
教材语境 P31》To inspire young people to take action for the environment，animals and their community, Roots & Shoots was established.
为了激励年轻人行动起来保护环境、动物和社区，“根与芽”诞生了。
用法详解take action意为“采取行动”。其中action前没有冠词，但可用quick（快的），swift（迅速的），immediate（立刻的）等形容词对其进行修饰。
常见搭配: take action to do sth.采取行动做某事

Involve
