While reading
Thailand, a beautiful country located in Southeast Asia, is known for its stunning beaches, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. The capital city of Thailand is Bangkok.
Elephants have a deep connection with the culture and history of Thailand. As well as symbolizing good luck, they also represent the traits of strength, loyalty, and longevity.
In the past, elephants were used as work animals and even in battles. Now people realize the importance of protecting elephants, the government made 13 March the Thai Elephant Day to call on people to love elephants.
Cultural Note.

Thai Elephant Day is held in Surin, Thailand every year. It’s a traditional religious festivals. On that day, there are many activities such as elephant parade, people can feed elephants. It attracts tourists from all over the world.
