祈使句
1. 概念
一般以动词原形开头,无时态和数的变化,没有主语,用来表示命令、建议、请求、禁止、警告、劝告等的句子。
命令:Close the door. 关门。
请求:Please help me. 请帮我。
建议:Let’s go for a walk. 我们去散步吧。
劝告:Don’t be late. 别迟到。

(1)肯定形式
① Do 型:动词原形 (+宾语) + 其他.
Stand up. 起立。
② Be 型:Be + 表语 (名词/形容词) + 其他.
Be quiet! 安静!
③ Let 型:Let + 宾语 (人称代词宾格) + 动词原形 + 其他.
Let me help you. 让我来帮你。

(2)否定形式
① Do 型和 Be 型祈使句的否定式均在句首加 Don’t;若句首有please,则在please 后加 don't
Don't fight. 不要打架。
Don’t play with fire. 不要玩火。
Don’t talk loudly. 不要大声讲话。
Please don't be late! 请不要迟到!

(2)否定形式
② Let 型祈使句的否定式有两种:一种在 let 前加 Don't,另一种为“Let+宾语+not+动词原形+其他.”
Don't let him sing. / Let him not sing.
别让他唱歌。
Let him not stand in the rain.
不要让他站在雨中。

(2)否定形式
③ No 开头,后跟动词-ing 形式来表示“禁止”的祈使句
No smoking! 禁止吸烟!
No parking! 禁止停车!
④ Never + 动词原形
Never come late. 永远不要迟到。

(1)有时为了表示委婉的语气,可在句首或句尾加please,但 please 加在句尾时,前面要用逗号隔开
Please sit down. 请坐。
Stand up, please. 请起立。
(2)在意思较为明显的情况下,可把谓语动词省去
This way, please.

(3)有时为了明确地向对方提出请求或发出命令,可加称呼,但称呼要与句子隔开

(4)某些名词、形容词或副词等后面加感叹号,也可作为祈使句使用

3. Never keep the water running.
(1)never,副词,表示绝对否定,"绝不;永远不要"
Never leave your door unlocked at night.
晚上千万不要不锁门。
(2)keep,动词,此处表示"使维持某种状态"
Keep the window open for fresh air.
让窗户开着通风。
(3)keep sb. /sth. doing sth. 意为“让某人/某物一直做某事”
It's too cold. Keep the fire burning.
太冷了,让火一直燃着吧。

4. No littering.
(1)litter ① 动词,意为“乱扔”
Lots of books and newspapers litered the floor.
地板上乱七八糟地堆了许多书和报纸。
② 不可数名词,意为“(在公共场所乱扔的)垃圾,废弃物,杂物”
Don't throw litter on the ground.
别把垃圾扔在地上。
(2)No + 动名词,用于公共场所,表示禁止或警告某种行为
