一、教材分析 Analysis of teaching material
What:- 文本类型:是一篇日记体裁的阅读材料 ,讲述了Lila在7月22日观看日食的经历。- 具体内容:Lila和朋友去Yarra河看日食,带上特制眼镜。日食过程中,月亮慢慢遮住太阳,天空变黑,人群惊叹。之后太阳重现,Lila深受启发,下午阅读天文相关内容,还看天文纪录片,梦想成为天文学家或宇航员,觉得天空是极限。- 练习形式:设置两类练习题。一是阅读理解题,要求阅读日记回答问题,如Lila和朋友在哪看日食、带特殊眼镜原因等;二是思考写作题,让学生思考难忘事件,描述其特别之处并分享故事,还给出一些参考角度(如参观特殊地方、参加节日等 ) 。Why:- 语言学习层面- 阅读能力:通过日记阅读,锻炼学生提取关键信息能力,如回答阅读理解题需定位文本细节。同时提升学生对不同体裁文本(日记)的理解能力。- 词汇积累:文本中涉及天文(eclipse“日食”、astronomer“天文学家”等 )、 场景描述(gathered“聚集”、gasped“喘息、惊叹” )等相关词汇,有助于学生丰富词汇量。- 写作能力:思考写作题引导学生运用所学语言知识,组织语言分享个人经历,提升书面表达能力。- 知识拓展层面:向学生介绍日食现象,拓展天文知识,激发学生对天文科学的兴趣,同时培养学生对生活中特殊事件的观察和思考能力。

In this class, I guided students to learn how to predict the main idea of the whole passage through the title and the picture, how to divide paragraphs through fast reading and how to get details through careful reading.Seventy percent of students can finish the reading tasks and catch up with the class.It’s difficult for the rest of students to make it because of many strange words.To my surprise and joy, each student thinks it important to have a dream.
