舞狮是中国优秀民间艺术，古时又称“太平乐”。舞蹈类型包括：刘备狮、马超狮、张飞狮、赵云狮、关公狮、黄忠狮。舞狮派系分为南狮和北狮两种。南狮又称醒狮，造型威猛且富有浪漫主义气息。
舞狮不进是一种艺术形式，还承载着身后的文化意义。象征着吉祥如意，舞狮活动寄托着民众消灾除害，求吉纳福的美好意愿。

石狮子是中国传统文化中常见的辟邪物品，具有艺术价值和观赏价值。 它们通常以石材为原材料雕塑成狮子的形象，常用于传统建筑中及装饰中，如宫殿、寺庙、桥梁、府邸、陵墓等地方。
石狮子通常成对放置在大门左右两侧，象征尊贵和不可侵犯。石狮子还有多种造型，如献钱狮象征招财进宝，网球狮寓意驱邪化吉等，这些不同的造型在民间广受欢迎。在现代，虽然许多建筑物的大门前仍保留着安放石狮子的传统，但它们的意义已超越了实际的守护功能，更多地象征着吉祥和文化的传承。

老虎鞋，因鞋头形似虎头而得名，是中国传统民间手工艺制作的一种童鞋。人们认为穿上老虎鞋可以辟邪恶、保平安，呵护孩子健康成长。人们常说：摸摸虎头，吃穿不愁；摸摸虎嘴，驱邪避鬼；摸摸虎身，步步高升；摸摸虎背，荣华富贵；摸摸虎尾，十全十美……婴幼儿虎鞋，虎头富有生机，小巧玲珑，形神兼备。2007年，盐城老虎鞋被江苏省人民政府批准为第一批江苏省非物质文化遗产名录项目。
