一、学情分析
1. 语言能力：在学习本课之前，学生已在前两课积累了一定的语言基础，掌握了paint, run, swim, dance等词汇基础，并初步掌握I like..., he likes...句型，但在第三人称单数运用上，需进一步巩固he/she likes…与I/They like…的区别。
2.学习能力：三年级学生好奇心强，对新鲜事物充满兴趣，在课堂上能够积极参与活动，但自主学习能力较弱，需要教师的引导和监督。他们善于模仿，通过模仿课文中的对话和表达，能够较快掌握新的语言知识。
3.思维品质：学生开始具备初步的逻辑思维能力，能够对简单的问题进行思考和判断。在学习法布尔的故事时，可引导他们思考法布尔的爱好对他人生的影响，培养思维深度。
4.文化意识：学生对科学家法布尔了解甚少，通过学习课文，能拓宽文化视野，了解到不同人的兴趣爱好以及这些爱好带来的成就 ，感受探索科学的魅力。
二、教材分析
本课是一篇配图故事，讲述了Fabre从小就喜欢观察动植物。有一天，他为了观察一只螳螂，爬上树待了很久。Fabre长大后他成为了昆虫学家，完成了许多关于昆虫的著作。引导学生了解Fabre的兴趣爱好和他为发展兴趣爱好付出的努力，体会兴趣爱好对职业选择和个人成就的影响。
三、教学目标
通过本课时的学习，学生能够：
1.能在图片环游、预测、推理、朗读故事等活动中，理解故事大意，梳理语言知识。
2.能利用故事图和核心语言复述故事。
3.能表演故事片段，体会角色的内心感受，讨论兴趣爱好对职业选择和个人成就的影响。
4.能仿照配图故事，介绍自己的兴趣爱好，并简单分享如何发展自己的兴趣爱好。
四、教学难点及解决措施
难点：在实际生活中能够正确运用核心句型询问和表达兴趣爱好。
解决措施：运用角色扮演、图表调查等多种方式，增强语言的应用能力。
五、教学过程
Step 1 lead-in
1.学生使用已学语言与教师打招呼。参考语言：Hello, Good morning.
2.学生观察图片，使用句型They like…, He/ She likes…描述图片，复习相关词汇，如singing, dancing, swimming等。最后，通过描述Fabre观察昆虫的图片引入本课内容。在此，教师将根据昆虫这一主题对全班进行分组。（详情参考“竞争机制图示ppt”）
Step 2 Presentation
1. 学生观看课文视频，了解故事背景，回答问题Who is the boy 捕捉故事的主人公的信息。
2.学生读图片1-3，并回答问题：What does Fabre like doing 逐图明确Fabre的兴趣爱好。在此过程中，学生复习句型He likes…,并学习单词learn, plant, question等。
3.学生听图片4音频，进行填空，在教师引导下借助图片、上下文理解go up a tree、 mantis、for a long time的含义。
4.学生读图片5，回答问题Why is Fabre up there 学习单词interesting，通过对比Fabre和其他人的感受，体会Fabre对昆虫研究的热爱。
5.学生听图片6音频，回答问题What does Fabre do when he grows up 学习短语grow up,通过图片体会儿时爱好对个人未来职业的影响。同时，学生了解《昆虫记》的相关知识。
Step 3 Practice
1.学生指一指，听录音跟读模仿。
2.学生自读课文，注意展现Fabre对昆虫的喜爱。同时进行自评。
3.学生在教师的引导下通过故事流程图梳理故事内容，并复述故事，锻炼学生口语表达能力。
4.学生完成活动2，理解和记忆课文内容，进一步理解Fabre的爱好。
Step 4 Production
1.学生再次阅读课文内容，然后根据课文内容，完成活动3。学生在对课文的理解和掌握程度的同时，也锻炼了阅读理解、综合分析和逻辑判断能力。
2.学生思考What can you learn from story 随后四人一组，讨论问题What do you need to do 说一说如何将爱好变成职业。最后小组中选出代表，进行全班展示学生在教师的引导下分析、评价Fabre的行为，学习他努力发展兴趣爱好、追求梦想的精神。

1.师生共同总结本课所学内容。
2.分层作业
