A new study found that many retired people who experienced virtual reality(VR) said they
liked it. Earlier research has shown the technology can improve emotional health and reduce

A dandelion(蒲公英) is a wild plant which has yellow flowers. Dandelion seeds fly freely in
the wind. Some are preparing to fly north. Others are going to fly east, south or west. Each is
programmed to release(释放) on a wind coming from one direction. It resists(抵制) winds from

How are dandelion seeds blown off by the wind “It depends on where they sit on the seed
head, ” says Jena Shields. She’s a biophysicist in the US. The feathery seeds on the side facing a

Dear Peter,
I want to share my recent mountain climbing adventure with you. Last weekend, I went
to Mount Tai with my family. It was a beautiful and challenging trip.
On our way up, we met a group of elderly hikers who were very experienced. They
shared some useful tips with us on how to climb safely and enjoy the view. It was inspiring
to see them so active and full of energy at their age.
I think this experience was amazing. The view from the top was breathtaking, and I felt
a great sense of achievement. It was also a great way to spend time with my family and make
new friends.
