What happened in the restaurant
In the restaurant, Mr Adam was looked down upon by the owner and the waiter because of his shabby clothes-----he was in rags!
After a big meal, he went to the two rich brothers’ house and tried to return the money. But the two brothers had gone out travelling and would not come back a month later.
After leaving the two brothers' house, Henry started wondering on the street again. He was reading the two brothers' letter when a strong gust of wind blew the million pound-note away. It took him quite some time and effort to finally get the note back again. But unfortunately, his coat was seriously
torn out! He needed a new coat!
