Students are expected to learn the knowledge about how to write a suggestion letter. The teacher is expected to enable students to master some writing skills concerning suggestion letters and learn to write one.学习者分析Students in grade one are usually active and cooperative in the class, and they should have mastered some basic expressions of giving advice such as “I recommend that…”, “I think you should…”, and “why not…”. What’s more, some students are faced with the same problem with Xu Ting so their writing can not only help Xu Ting but also themselves as well.学习目标确定(1).Figure out the organization and language features of a letterof advice. (2).Identify the useful patterns and expressions to make suggestions from the reading text. (2).Write a letter of advice by using the language in the reading text.学习评价设计本课设计的活动及评价: Reading for details: Through careful reading, students’ task-based reading ability has improved to some extent. Reading for thinking: Students’ creative thinking capacity has improved. Reading for structures and language features: This is the difficult points of this lesson, but to my surprise, the students found the relevant sentences in a comprehensive way, which showed that their comprehension improved a lot. Preparations for writing: Students got to know the letter of advice and developed their ability to summarize the story and grasped the details of it. Writing a letter of advice: Some students expressed their ideas very well, but some students can't express themselves completely due to lack of vocabulary. Language points: Students have already grasped what the teacher explained and known how to use it. In the design of the writing part, from textbook to real life , from shallow to deep, step by step to help students deepen their understanding of the problem, and transfer students’ attention to their classmates, even to their own problems. The homework of this course is mainly based on the letter of advice, which fits the topic of the article, and can help students acquire different aspects of cognitive ability from the perspective of freshmen in campus life. At the same time, to express their own questions, suggestions or reasons in different language forms, these tasks can enhance students' interest and enthusiasm for learning.教学反思与改进The teaching design of this course is successful on the whole, most of the feedback from students is good, but there are also the following problems: 1. In the writing of opinions and reasons, some students could not make good use of the key phrases and writing formats learned in this lesson, and thus wasted time. 2. In the role play, students can not get out of the textbook, and some students can not repeat well according to their own mind map, still holding the textbook, reading is not smooth enough. 3.The design of level 4 and 5 writing requires a lot of time to a certain extent, which will lead to insufficient class hours.
