四、听短文,根据短文内容选择正确答案。短文念两遍。
Have you ever made a camera by yourself These days, students in Class 3, Grade
9 in No.1 Middle School made some "cameras" with paper, glass and glue. It sounds like
they made them for an art class or a science and technology competition. But actually, it
was a physics class project. The students have been learning about light and pictures
these days. Their physics teacher came up with the idea to help them understand the
knowledge more deeply. All the students said they learned a lot from this experience.
The self-made cameras can't really take photos. But with them, students can see a
building that is about 200 meters away clearly. Students made cameras in different sizes.
The smallest one is just half the size of a computer mouse. The biggest one is as big as
a TV. The camera which could"see" most clearly got full marks.

EvelinaDe Lain, from Britain, is a famous musician.Recently she gave the world a
surprise. She played the piano at a height of 5,000 meters in the Himalayas. So she set
the world record for the highest-ever classical music concert. It lasted for one and a half
hours.
14 years ago, an accident made De Lain unable to move her hands properly. She
loved music, so she didn't want to give up playing the piano. After a long time of
treatment, she finally got better and could use her hands again.
De Lain has created her own mixed style of classical and jazz music. People can get
different experiences from her music. She wants to do more things to let more people
realize how important music is in their life. So she gave this special concert.
De Lain said that the condition on the mountain was harder than she imagined. But
she was not afraid of the challenge. She thought it was her honor to be asked to play her
music in clouds. It was very cold, but she felt pleased that she made it finally.
