Language Points
I sat close to the radio in the living room, listening to my favorite programmes and to the voices of my favorite presenters.
我在紧挨着客厅的收音机坐着，听我最喜欢的节目和最喜欢的主持人的声音。
（1）sit close to… 紧挨着…坐
be close to 临近，靠近; 和……亲近
（2）listening to my favorite programmes and （listening）to the voices of my favorite presenters
在句中做状语，表示伴随。
my favorite programmes 和 the voice of my favorite programmes并列做listening to的宾语，and后面省略了listening。
