本课时以促进学生学科核心素养发展为目标,围绕主题语境,基于语篇,设计了包括“描述优秀品质”“预测成功秘诀”“阐述成功原因”“讨论潜在阻碍”等涉及学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新不同层次的语言、思维、文化相融合的活动。
基于“六要素”整合的英语学习活动观
本课时所处单元围绕“成功”话题,构建起对成功的认知、态度和行为选择,形成“认识什么是成功”“探讨如何取得成功”“理解成功的深层含义”的单元框架。本课时为“探讨如何取得成功”层次,课程设计基于学生已了解成功含义的前提,并将为“理解成功的深层含义”做好铺垫。
指向深度学习的单元整体教学设计
本课时通过话题导入促使学生基于自身体验和已有知识生成意义、建构理解;在阅读文本获取信息的课堂活动中,教师以鼓励学生思考为主,提供适当支架引导学生在动态互动中实现发展。

第一篇文本为演讲,作者运用举例子、列数字、作比较等论证方法增强观点的说服力;采用总分总的结构,文章层次清晰、思路明确,且有主旨句支撑起文段结构,观点鲜明易懂;使用第二人称叙述,开头连用两个一般疑问句,迅速与听众拉近距离,增强感染力;第二篇文本为一则对话,语言风格偏向日常化,使用序数词连接观点,层次分明;使用大量标记语贯穿文本,使文本衔接自然流畅,贴合真实语境。
