I am Jack. Last weekend, I went to a forest for a camping trip with my friends. There was a small river and many beautiful trees in the forest. We played a lot of games there.
We went boating on the river and went fishing too. Some children went swimming in the river, but I didn’t. I thought it was dangerous. The weather was sunny and hot, but the water was cold. I washed my face with the water.
There was an adventure trail (小路) in the forest. It was great fun! I climbed trees and I could see the mountains from there. I rode zip lines (滑索) too. It was difficult but I could do it. My friend Joe didn’t want to ride zip lines. He thought it was terrible.

It was a cold, rainy day. My mother and I drove to a hill. It was difficult to make a two-hour trip along the highway (高速路) in such weather. I didn’t want to go. But my mother asked me to go to see something at the top of the hill.
