（一）常用介词
4. 表示“沿着”“穿过”“越过”的方位介词
（1）along 沿着；顺着 (不侧重方向性)
Let's walk along the street.

北京在山西的东边。

no houses 意为“没有房子”。no 与名词搭配时的用法：
① no+单数名词=not a/an+单数名词
There is no bridge over the river.
= There is not a bridge over the river.
河上没有桥。
As you're aware, this is not a new problem.

no 与名词搭配时的用法：
② no+复数名词=not any+复数名词
We have no lessons this afternoon.
= We don't have any lessons this afternoon.
我们今天下午没有课。
I don't have any particular reason to distrust them.
我没有任何特别的理由怀疑他们。

no 与名词搭配时的用法：
③ no+不可数名词=not any+不可数名词
I have no money.
= I don't have any money.
我没钱。

the Jones 意为“琼斯一家人”。
“the+姓氏的复数形式”，表示一家人或夫妻二人。作主语时，谓语动词用复数
