教学内容
教学重点: 1. 能够进一步运用颜色类词汇来描述事物的颜色。 2. 能够在具体的场景下,进一步运用本单元重点句型来询问颜色并回答颜色。 教学难点: 1. 能够结合生活经验设计城市中的一幕场景,在与同伴合作下对场景中事物的颜色、位置进行描述。 2. 在教师的引导下,能够对Big question有进一步的回答。
教学过程
1. Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls! I’m your new English teacher today. I’m Miss Sun. Today, we will continue to learn Unit 8 colours (Wrap-up time and Assessment time) together. 2. Let’s prepare T: Before we get started. Let’s prepare these things at hand. Your English book, your worksheet, some colour pens, a glue stick and a pair of scissors. We will use them in this class. OK! Now. Are you ready for the class Great! 3. Big question T: In this unit, we learned a lot about colours. Let’s take a look at the big question first. Let’s read together. What colourful things are around us So, What colourful things are around us You can share with your deskmate about it. 4. Paint and chant T: Great! Now let me show you something. Try to guess their colours. Understand Listen to the chant and here we go. 5. Fill and mark T: Different things have different colours. Boys and girls, Do you remember What colourful things do we know in the last two lessons Here is a rhyme about them. Now you can take out your worksheet. Fill the blanks first and then mark the rising and falling tone on it. T: Finished Let’s read with the rhyme and check together. This class, we will have lot of turns to decribe the colours of things. So let’s take a close look at the school things first. Look around, you can see lots of colourful things. Use the sentence structures to talk with your deskmate. Find and say Can you find things with the same colour around you This time you can work in four. Let me show you video about how to do it. Do you understand now Ready Go. 7. A colourful school park T: I’m sure that you can name a lot of colours now. Look! In my school, there is a beautiful school park. What colourful things can you see here You can talk with your deskmate about it. 8. Look and answer Yes, we can see colourful flowers and cute animals here. How about this park What can you see in this park Yes, you can see the green trees and orange oranges. And look! You can see the colourful kites. 9. Listen and draw What about the others Let’s listen to the tape and colour the other things. Listen carefully. Check and say Have you finished You can use the sentence structures to check the answers with your deskmate now. Go! Let’s check together! Besides the park, we can find lots of other colourful palces in the city. Look at the pictures, where are they The farm, the zoo, the supermarket, the school and the Science Museum. They make our colourful city. 11. Choose and make T: Today we need to choose one scene and make our colourful city. For example, this is my colourful park. Can you describe my colourful park So first question for you. What’s in the park Yes. This is a cat. This is a duck.That is a piano. These are apples. Those are pears. And the second question, what colour What colour is the cat It’s white. Now, you can talk with your deskmate about the other things. Let’s say together. This is a duck. It’s yellow. That is a piano. It’s red. These are apples. They’re red. Those are pears. They’re yellow. And the last question. Where are they We can also talk about the places. Let’s play a little game together. “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”and “No, no, no.”, make a judge quickly. The duck is in the pond. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The cat is on the tree. No, no, no. How to correct the sentence The cat is under the tree ... 12. Cut, colour and stick After we answer the three questions, we can describe the things clearly. Look! This is my passage. Let’s read together! You can see the beginning, description and the ending in it. So now boys and girls. It’s your turn to design the colourful scenes. You can follow the three steps and work in 4. Let’s describe I think all of you have finished your work. Are you ready to introduce your pictures to us These sentences can help you. 14. Assessment time Wonderful job! After finishing this work, I think you are able to do all of these. Now let’s read and tick. I can name colours. I can ask about the colour of something. I can talk about the colours around me. 15.
