see sb do sth 看见某人做某事 强调看到了动作的全过程或动作经常发生 They saw the old man feed the birds every morning.
他们看到那位老人每天早上都喂鸟。
see sb doing sth 看见某人正在做某事 强调看到的动作正在进行 When I passed by the park, I saw some children playing football.
当我路过公园时，我看到一些孩子正在踢足球。
与see此用法类似的词还有:hear(听见)、watch(观看)、notice(注意到)
make sth. + adj. 使……处于某种状态
2. These things are usually too small to see.这些东西通常小得看不见。
too + 形容词/副词 + to + 动词原形 “太……以至于不能……”
这里的too表示“过于”或“太”，后面跟形容词/副词描述程度，to引导一个结果，表示“以至于不能……”。
too ... to ... 可与so ... that或not ... enough进行转换。
These things are usually too small to see.
=These things are so small that we can’t see them.
=These things are not big enough to see.
这些物质通常都很微小, 以至于我们无法看见。
我过去认为干净的水很容易获得。
3. I used to think it was easy to get clean water.
used to表示“过去常常”，to是不定式符号，后接动词原形。
I used to be afraid of the dark.
我以前怕黑。
used to的否定形式是didn't use to或者used not to。
He didn't use to smoke. =He used not to smoke.
used to的疑问句也有两种形式，一种是“Did+主语+use to+动词原形”。另一种(不常用)形式是“Used+主语+to+动词原形”
