The doctor wanted me to relax, so he had me listen to some music, and one of the songs was “Happy”. The song made me feel so much better that from then on I began to listen to music all the time. Hello, my name is Jane, and I’m here to talk about how music influenced my father’s life. Have you ever encountered a time when everything went wrong and you were discouraged Five years ago, my father was diagnosed to develop a serious disease which was hard to cure. It seemed as if the world was at an end. The doctor suggested that we should keep calm and help my father fight with the disease bravely. He also advised my father to listen to music often. Just as Walter Haddon once said, “Music is the medicine of a troubled mind.” My father followed the doctor’s advice and listened to soft music from time to time. Music gave my father encouragement; music gave my father strength and music gave my father confidence. Music became my father’s best friend, helping him get through the hardest time.
I do hope none of you have to meet with tough time in your life. In case you come across the same situation, I advise you to turn to music, for it does help.

Hello! My name is Li Hua, and I feel it a great honour to share my views on the benefits of music.
Have you ever gone through some periods when you feel very depressed Two years ago, my best friend was killed in a traffic accident. Realising that she was gone forever made me so sad that I felt I was surrounded by an ocean of sadness. I did not know how to face my life.
Then one day, I accidentally heard a piece of classic music called “Tears in Heaven”, which touched my heart and moved me to tears. So from then on I began to listen to music because I realised music is the language of the mind. Just as Hans Christian Andersen once said, “Where words fail, music speaks. ” Music can truly describe what we are feeling deep inside.
Music helps me remember how much I miss my friend. Music helps me remember all the great times we had and gives me a sense of satisfaction. Music also helps me be grateful for that time together. Moreover, music eventually helps me survive those hard times. If you struggle to face the cruel reality, music can be your guide and friend. So let’s treasure the expressive power of music!
Thank you!
