The advantages of being in a virtual choir are that it is very easy to get lots of people in different places together quickly and cheaply. However, a disadvantage of not having everyone in the same place is that singers cannot react to each other in the same way as they can in person.
Although a virtual choir doesn’t bring people together physically I think it still helps bring people together, because they can be from different countries and cultures, but still join together easily to share the love of music.
