The wolf and the seven little kids
In rushed the wolf! The little kids screamed(尖叫着) and tried to hide: One under the table, One in the bed, One in the oven(烤箱), One in the kitchen cupboard(橱柜), One in the washbasin(洗脸盆), One under a chair, And the youngest in the grandfather clock. But the wolf found them all and swallowed(吞下) them whole—except the youngest in the clock, whom he missed.
When the mother goat returned, she found the door wide open and the house in chaos(混乱). She cried, "Children, where are you " A tiny(小小的) voice called, "Here I am, inside the clock!" The youngest kid came out and told her what had happened. The mother goat went outside, heartbroken, and saw the wolf sleeping under a tree, his stomach moving. She thought, "Could my children still be alive " She sent the youngest kid home for scissors(剪刀), thread(线), and a needle(针). Then she cut open the wolf’s belly(腹部)—and out jumped the six little kids, unharmed(未受伤害)! They filled the wolf’s stomach with stones and sewed(缝合) it up quickly.
When the wolf woke up, he felt thirsty and went to the well to drink. But the heavy stones made him lose balance, and he fell in and drowned(淹死). The seven little kids danced around their mother, shouting, "The wolf is dead! The wolf is dead!" And they lived happily ever after.
