I learned farming is not easy. It made me think of “Every grain comes from hard work.” The farmer let us take some vegetables home. Mum cooked them for dinner, and they were fresh and delicious. This day on the farm is a day I'll always remember.

Write a chain story about your memorable day.
Last autumn, I had a truly unforgettable day at a school sports meet. I wasn’t good at running, but my best friend Lily encouraged me to join the 400-meter race.
When the race started, I felt nervous. Halfway through, I tripped and fell. Pain shot through my knee, and I almost gave up. But then, I heard my classmates shouting, “Come on!” Looking up, I saw Lily waving a flag wildly.
I stood up and started running again. Every step hurt, but their cheers pushed me forward. When I crossed the finish line last, everyone cheered even louder. My teacher gave me a band-aid and said, “Bravery matters more than speed.”
That day taught me that courage and friendship are more
important than winning. Though I didn’t get a medal, I felt
like a real hero.
Writing Task2
Write a chain story about your memorable day.
Last winter, my family and I had a magical day at a ski resort. I’d never skied before, so I was both excited and scared.
At first, I kept falling down. My legs shook as I tried to stand on the slippery snow. But my dad patiently taught me how to balance and turn. He said, “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes!” Slowly, I started to get the hang of it.
When I finally slid down a small slope without falling, I felt so proud. The cold wind blew against my face, but I couldn’t stop smiling. My mom took pictures of me, and we laughed together.
That day, I learned that new things might seem hard at first,
but with practice and a positive attitude, anything is possible.
It’s a day I’ll always treasure in my heart.
Writing Task2
Write a chain story about your memorable day.
Last month, I joined the school cooking competition. Though I’d only cooked simple dishes at home, I decided to make tomato and egg stir-fry.
When the competition started, my hands trembled as I cracked the eggs. Suddenly, I dropped a spoon into the pan with a loud clatter, making everyone around laugh. But I took a deep breath and kept going. I carefully added tomatoes and seasonings, stirring gently.
To my surprise, I won third place! Holding the medal,
I felt proud. This day taught me that it’s okay to
make mistakes—what matters is having the
courage to try.
