It started with an emperor. He loved new clothes a lot. Two bad men said they could make magic clothes. Only smart people could see them, but it was a lie.

The emperor sent his helpers to check. They saw nothing, but they didn’t want to look stupid. So they said, “The clothes are amazing!” The emperor also said the same thing, even though he couldn’t see anything. Then he walked outside to show his “new clothes.”
