Listen, read, and match the pictures with the paragraphs.
Animal Camouflage
Many animals blend in with their surroundings. This is called camouflage. Camouflage helps animals in different ways. Some use it to find food, but others use it because they don’t want to become food!
Polar Bears
Polar Bears Hide in the Snow Polar bears, for example, are found in the ice and snow.
Everything around them is white. They’re covered in white fur, but their eyes, noses, and the bottoms of their feet are black. When they
hunt for food, they sometimes cover their eyes and nose with their paws.
Stonefish

If a fish touches a stonefish by mistake, it stings them to death and eats them.
Tree Frogs
Tree Frogs Can’t Be Seen Gray tree frogs, however, use camouflage to hide. They’re found in the forests of North America. Because they live in trees, they look like a tree branch.
Which animal uses camouflage to hide? Whichanimals use camouflage to hunt?

On Saturday, our netball team had the first game of the season. We all got there early because we were so excited. The warm-up was really intense and by the time the whistle blew to start the game we were all sweating but ready to play. The game was tough all the way to the final whistle. Sadly, we lost by one point.

Attention Grabber
At first, I was embarrassed to have a go at juggling because I can’t even catch a big ball. My mate showed me step-by-step how to get started and it really helped. After getting started, I didn’t want to stop. It was really frustrating but I reckon I will be really good at it in maybe a year!
