to。used to用于疑问句时,可借助助动词did,也可以将used提到主语前。如:My mother used to get up early.改为否定句:My mother didn't use/usedn't to get up early.改为一般疑问句:Did your mother use/Used your mother to get up early 肯定回答:Yes,she did/used.否定回答:No,she didn't/usedn't.2.silent的用法作形容词,意为“不说话的;沉默的”。常用短语keep/remain silent,意为“保持沉默”。3.such a great idea 如此好的一个主意such+a/an+可数名词单数形式,意为“如此一个……”。4.辨析see sb.doing sth.与see sb. do sth.(1)see father always takes pride in him.=His father is always proud of him.他的父亲总是以他为骄傲。2.in the last few years意为“在过去的几年里”,指的是从现在算起的以前或到现在为止的几年中的情况,与现在有联系,因此谓语动词一般用现在完成时。如:I have learnt a lot in the last few years.在过去的几年里我学到了很多。3.influence的用法(1)作名词,意为“影响”,常用短语:have an influence on...“对……有影响”。如:His paintings have a strong influence on me.他的画对我产生强烈的影响。(2)作动词,意为“影响;对……起作用”。如:The wording of questions can influence how people answer.问题的措辞会影响人们的回答。4.advise的用法advise 意为“建议”,常用句式:建议做某事 advise doing sth.;建议某人做某事advise sb. to do sth.。其否定句式为 advise sb.not to do sth.。其后不能直接跟不定式作宾语。如:He advised setting off
