Step 4　问题探究(10分钟)
1．used to的用法
used to do sth.意为“过去常常做某事”，to为不定式符号。表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作或状态，暗指现在已不存在了，强调过去与现在的对比。used to的否定形式有两种：didn't use to或usedn't to。used to用于疑问句时，可借助助动词did，也可以将used提到主语前。
如：My mother used to get up early.
改为否定句：
My mother didn't use/usedn't to get up early.
改为一般疑问句：
Did your mother use/Used your mother to get up early
肯定回答：Yes，she did/used.
否定回答：No，she didn't/usedn't.
2．silent的用法
作形容词，意为“不说话的；沉默的”。常用短语keep/remain silent，意为“保持沉默”。
3．such a great idea 如此好的一个主意
such＋a/an＋可数名词单数形式，意为“如此一个……”。
4．辨析see sb.doing sth.与see sb. do sth.
(1)see sb.doing sth.意为“看见某人正在做某事”。
(2)see sb.do sth.意为“看见某人做了某事”。
5．辨析deal with与do with
两者都表示“对付；应对”，但deal with多和how搭配，do with多和what。

Step 4　问题探究(5分钟)
1．take pride in意为“为……感到自豪”，in为介词，其后可接名词、代词或动词－ing形式。相当于be proud of。
如：His father always takes pride in him.＝His father is always proud of him.他的父亲总是以他为骄傲。
2．in the last few years意为“在过去的几年里”，指的是从现在算起的以前或到现在为止的几年中的情况，与现在有联系，因此谓语动词一般用现在完成时。
如：I have learnt a lot in the last few years.在过去的几年里我学到了很多。
3．influence的用法
(1)作名词，意为“影响”，常用短语：have an influence on...“对……有影响”。
如：His paintings have a strong influence on me.他的画对我产生强烈的影响。
(2)作动词，意为“影响；对……起作用”。
如：The wording of questions can influence how people answer.问题的措辞会影响人们的回答。
4．advise的用法
advise 意为“建议”，常用句式：建议做某事 advise doing sth.；建议某人做某事advise sb. to do sth.。其否定句式为 advise sb.not to do sth.。其后不能直接跟不定式作宾语。
如：He advised setting off early.他建议早点动身。
He advised me to buy a computer.他建议我买台电脑。
