(1)convenient作形容词,意为“方便的;便利的”。其常用句型有:It is convenient(for sb.)to do…(对某人来说)做某事是方便的;sth.is convenient to sb.对某人来说某事是便利的。
(2)Can you tell me where there's a good place to eat?你能告诉我哪里有一个吃饭的好地方吗?
这是一个特殊疑问句的宾语从句,从句中的to eat是后置定语,修饰名词place。
6.结伴分角色朗读1e方框中的对话。然后仿照对话,编一个类似的对话,完成1e的任务。(3分钟)

(1)on one's way to…
on one's way to…意为“在……途中;在还未到达……时”。
【拓展】有关way的短语还有:lose one's way迷路;all the way完全地;自始至终;by the way顺便说一句;in a way在某种程度上;in one's(own) way以某人(自己)的方式;in the way(of)挡道,妨碍;no way不行,没门。
(2)suggest
suggest意为“建议;提议”,用法如下:
①suggest doing sth.意为“建议做某事”。
如:He suggested going by plane.他建议坐飞机去。
②suggest后接that引导的宾语从句时,从句谓语通常用“(should)+动词原形”。
如:I suggested that she should go home.我建议她回家去。
环节说明:读写结合,加强学生从短文中获取有效信息的能力,及时巩固所学语言点。

4.结合所学句型,归纳总结特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句和宾语从句与简单句的转换。
(1)特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句。
当宾语从句是由连接代词who,whom,whose,what,which或连接副词where,when,how,why等引导时,这时特殊疑问词就是宾语从句的引导词,从句部分要用陈述语序。
(2)宾语从句与简单句的转换。
在宾语从句中,当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,我们可以把特殊疑问句充当的宾语从句转换成不定式短语,在句中作及物动词的宾语。

当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,由连接代词what、who、whom、whose、which或连接副词 when、where、how、why引导,因为连接代词或连接副词在从句中担任一定的句子成分,具有一定的意义,所以不可以省略。

I wonder when we will arrive.
3.我问他我在哪里能挣到如此多的钱。

1.thank sb.for(doing)sth.意为“因(做)某事而感谢某人”,其中for为介词,后跟名词,代词或动词-ing形式作宾语。thank you for(doing)sth.相当于thanks for(doing)sth.
2.would like意为“想;想要”,在语气上比want要委婉。would like的主要用法有:
(1)would like sth.意为“想要某物”。
(2)would like to do sth.意为“想(要)做某事”。
(3)would like sb.to do sth.意为“想要某人做某事”。
3.look forward to意为“盼望;期待”,着重指以特别愉快的心情期待着。其中to为介词,而不是动词不定式符号,其后只能接名词、代词或动词-ing形式作宾语,不能用动词原形。
如:I'm looking forward to receiving your letter.我期待着收到你的来信。
