Living a healthy lifestyle is important for everyone especially for students. It can also keep them fit. Here are
the following ways that we can do.
Eating a balanced diet is the first step to stay healthy. We should eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole
grains because they provide vitamins and fiber. Protein from fish, eggs, and beans helps build muscles (肌肉),
while dairy products like milk and yogurt keep our bones strong. It’s also important to drink enough water and
avoid too much junk food, such as chips and soft drinks, which can lead to weight gain and health problems.
Exercise is another key part of a healthy life. Doing sports like running, swimming, or playing basketball helps
keep our bodies strong and improves our mood. Experts suggest that teenagers should do at least 60 minutes of
exercise every day. They may think it’s better to use an exercise app to work out. It can show the progress and they
can share with their friends on the app. Even simple activities like walking or jumping rope can make a big
difference. Exercise not only keeps us fit but also helps us sleep better and reduces stress. Remember: Health is
wealth. The more you exercise, the healthier you become.
After studying or working, our bodies and minds need rest. Getting enough sleep—about 8 to 10 hours each
night—is essential for energy and concentration. Hobbies like reading, drawing, or listening to music can help us
relax. Spending too much time on phones or computers can strain our eyes and affect sleep, so it’s better to take
breaks and enjoy outdoor activities.
A healthy lifestyle is not difficult to achieve. By eating well, exercising regularly, and relaxing properly, we
can feel happier and more energetic every day. Start making small changes today for a healthier tomorrow!

China is developing at a high speed. Young people play an important role in it. They show the power of China
to the world. Do you know what amazing things they have made
Three of them are especially interesting. There is Yang Guowei who leads China’s high-speed rail to a bright

businesses. “Now villagers without Internet can still use it offline”, said an engineer. The team is working hard to
improve it. “We hope AI can connect people around the world like bridges”, they said. DeepSeek-R1 that working
together and being creative can change the future.
These young people are very confident and they know what they want to do. They have big dreams, face
challenges bravely and never give up. As China continues to grow much stronger, more young people will follow
their lead, making great contributions to the technology and culture. Dear friends, every step you take is important,

Nature’s Tiny Superheroes
Bees are important to Earth’s ecosystems. They pollinate 70% of the world’s food crops, including fruits,
vegetables, and nuts. Without bees, many plants would disappear, leading to food shortages for humans and
animals. Their work supports biodiversity (生物多样性) and keeps nature balanced.
Bees have unbelievable skills. They build perfect hexagonal honeycombs (六角蜂窝) using wax, which saves
space and materials. Worker bees can fly up to 10 km to find flowers and use the sun as a compass to return home.
They even “dance” to tell others where food is! Their tiny brains help scientists study memory and navigation (航
行).
It’s amazing that humans put the discoveries from bees into good use. They help to solve some real problems.
For example, tiny drones like Harvard’s RoboBee copy bee wings to check crops. And another example is that
these discoveries have also been used in medical research like bee venom’s melittin (蜂毒肽) fights cancer in drug
trials since 2020. And it also helps to develop the computers. Bee algorithms (算法) based on hive (蜂群)
teamwork manage internet traffic in Europe. And in California, almond (杏仁) farms use bee maps to increase
第 6页/共 15页
harvests by 40%.
However, bees face dangers like pesticides (杀虫剂), habitat loss, and climate change. Warmer temperatures
confuse their pollination schedules, and chemicals damage their nervous systems. In some areas, bee populations
have dropped by 30%in 10 years.
What can we do to protect them We can protect bees by planting native flowers, avoiding pesticides, and
building “bee hotels” from bamboo or wood. Schools in Germany and Canada keep hives to teach kids about
protection. Every small action helps these tiny heroes survive!
29. What does the underlined word “pollinate” mean in Paragraph 1
A Eat plants. B. Destroy flowers. C. Carry pollen to help plants grow.
30. How do the bees tell their friends when they find food
A. By dancing. B. By flying back. C. By watching the sun.
31. Why might scientists copy bee wings for robots
A. To direct traffic. B. To examine the crops. C. To fight cancers.
32. Which action would BEST help protect bees
A. Building a wooden bee hotel. B. Putting the bees in a warm house. C. Planting only grass in gardens.

we must wear uniforms, respect teachers, and keep classrooms clean.
I learned the importance of rules during a group project last term. Some classmates ignored deadlines, causing
some problems. Finally, we failed to finish the work. This experience taught me that rules bring order and
teamwork.
