for you in the writing process
W:Well, I used to be a very slow writer. I had to think about each word very carefully. I'm much better now but
writing with tight deadlines can be a huge challenge for me. That's mainly because I hate hurrying I want to
really explore the essence of a new place.
M: Have you ever done other work
W: Before I started travel writing, I worked briefly in publicity for various new products.I once gave out fiee
make-up on the streets of Montreal.
M: Do you have any tips for those dreaming of becoming a travel writer like you
W: Well, you need to take a fiesh point of view on an old subject. Many of the placcs you'll wrie about have been
done before,so you need to find something new that'll grab you r readers' attention.
M: Finally, Jessica, what do you see for yourself in the future
W:Well, Ive been offered TV work, but it doesn't attract me.I guess I can't see myself ever stop being on the move
I'm sure the appeal of the unknown will always be there for me even when I'm no longer able to make travel my
business.

M: OK,here are the details of our competition to find the best amateur chef in the region. To enter, you have to send
in a main course and dessert recipe with ingredients that cost less than E10 per person. From the recipes sent in,
the committee consisting of 8 judges will draw up a shortlist of 15 participants. They'll be asked to come along to
Pandoras Restaurant and cook their recipes for the panel of judges and paying customers, with the assistance of
the restaurant's chef. The judges will then choose three people to go forward to the final. The final three will be
