When the emperor heard the boy, he felt very embarrassed. His face turned red. The two brothers tried to run away, but the guards caught them at once. The emperor knew he'd been stupid. He said sorry to his people and told his officials to be honest.
After that, the emperor changed. He didn't care only about new clothes anymore. He started to work hard for his people. The people were glad to see this. And this story taught everyone to be honest.
