We rushed to the boy in trouble. He was stuck in a deep hole. The rain made it slippery. Every time we tried to pull him out, he almost slipped back. Thunder boomed. We feared the hole would collapse.
We found a long branch. Lowered it to the boy. With all our might, we pulled him up. Finally, he was out safe. The rain had stopped.
His parents came. They were so glad he was okay. They thanked us a lot. We felt happy we helped. That day, we learned to stay calm and help others.
