Pearl S. Buck was the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. She wrote more
than one hundred books. But most people remember Pearl S. Buck for her novels about China. She knew the

Li Fanghui, a rising star in freestyle skiing, made history at Harbin Winter Asian Games on February 8,

Long long ago, there lived a great storyteller. His stories gave both children and adults a lot of happiness.
He told a story about an emperor who loved new clothes and about a girl who was not taller than a person’s thumb

That storyteller’s name was Hans Christian Andersen. He was born in Denmark (丹麦). He wrote more
