These things are usually too small to see.
too...to...句式的结构形式为“too+形容词或副词+to+动词原形”,通常翻译成“太......而不能......” 。

该结构表示否定含义。其中 too 为副词,其后跟形容词或副词原级;to为不定式符号,后接动词原形。
【特别提醒】too...to...结构中,当too前有否定词 (如never)时,表达肯定意义。
翻译:这汤太咸了,不能喝。
This soup is too salty to eat.
翻译:活到老,学到老。

拓展:so...that 意为:如此...以至于,该结构表示肯定,so后接形容词或副词,that后接完整的句子。
该结构表示否定含义。其中 too 为副词,其后跟形容词或副词原级;to为不定式符号,后接动词原形。

used to 过去常常(做 )
be used to do 表示“被用来做某事”,相当于be used for doing sth. 刀是用来切东西的。
be/get used to doing sth. 表示“习惯于做某事” 她习惯每天早起做些运动。
拓展:be used to do 与 be/get used to doing sth.
