Working animals are great helpers to humans. For example, camels carry heavy things for people. Cats can help patients get better. Dogs and some kinds of horses help guide blind people.

自2022年9月，成都市四医院开始开展动物辅助团体治疗。据悉，这是我国国内首次将治疗犬只应用于精神科心理治疗。
参与动物辅助团体治疗的狗狗是来自于亚洲动物基金的“志愿者”，它们经过了极其严格的考试，在取得相关“工作证”后才能“上岗”。
根据情绪障碍中心负责人陈佳佳介绍，动物辅助疗法(Animal-Assisted Therapy, AAT)是指在心理治疗的过程中选用合乎条件的动物参与治疗，通过动物与患者建立和谐的关系，促进心理治疗目标的顺利实现。其在治疗抑郁症、焦虑、注意缺陷障碍、痴呆症、孤独症等方面疗效很好，在国外已有诸多利用动物抚慰患者，帮助患者康复的案例。

Welcome to Animal Stars. Today's animal star is a specia dog, Bingjie. He was a rescue dog and worked with firemen. Bingjie had a good sense of smell. He worked after many earthquakes and helped find missing people. Over the years, he saved many lives. His most famous rescue took place after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. He helped to find thirteen people. Bingjie died on 2 October 2021, at the age of 14. He was a hero.
