AI is rapidly catching up with the human ability to read faces. As a result, facial recognition is used a lot in

How can we save lives in dangerous areas China has successfully developed the world’s first medical
rescue drone (无人机) to save lives in dangerous places like disasters, mountains, or oceans. Created by Haishen
Medical Technology and scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this drone is invented to work in very
cold or hot temperatures and it can fly very high. It can work in temperatures as low as -25℃or as high as 46℃
and fly up to 5,000 meters above sea level. The drone weighs 600 kg and can carry 300 kg of medical equipment
including tools for breathing support, checking heartbeats, and emergency (紧急情况) treatment.
Using high-technology, the drone can fly automatically (自动的) with GPS or stay in one place to help
injured people. Engineers say it will greatly improve rescue speed during earthquakes, floods, or other
emergencies. Recently, at a medical company also introduced new rescue robots developed with DEEP Robotics.

Do you enjoy mountain climbing It is a tough journey that takes more than a strong body or skills to
complete. However, a 17-year-old Alkut Dilxat made a name for himself. He became the youngest climber to
reach the top of Qomolangma last year.
Becoming a great climber has been the teenager’s childhood dream. His father, Dilxat Abdurxit, is the head
of the outdoor rescue team. Alkut grew up listening to stories of exciting yet dangerous trips. “I know it’s
dangerous and people died on their way. But I can never give up the pure happiness of successfully challenging a
high peak.” Alkut said, “And Qomolangma, the top of the world, is the greatest challenge of them all. So why not
have a go ”
Alkut is already a national inc-icer mountaineer. But to prepare for China’s highest peak, he never dropped
training for a day. Alkut ran 10 kilometers every morning before going to school, and took professional classes on
weekends. Before he set out for the top of Qomolangma, his father served as his coach and cheerleader, telling
him to hold on if he wanted to realize his dream safely. And his mother encouraged him on video chat when he
was experiencing illness because of low oxygen level.
It took Alkut days to reach the top and he had to camp in really bad weather. Sometimes, fear hit him when
he saw frozen bodies of climbers who failed. Sad, strange thoughts caught him when the air got very thin.
“Halfway through, one may feel like breaking down. And toward the end you just don’t want to continue.” he

Do you enjoy mountain climbing It is a tough journey that takes more than a strong body or skills to
complete. However, a 17-year-old Alkut Dilxat made a name for himself. He became the youngest climber to
reach the top of Qomolangma last year.
Becoming a great climber has been the teenager’s childhood dream. His father, Dilxat Abdurxit, is the head
of the outdoor rescue team. Alkut grew up listening to stories of exciting yet dangerous trips. “I know it’s
dangerous and people died on their way. But I can never give up the pure happiness of successfully challenging a
high peak.” Alkut said, “And Qomolangma, the top of the world, is the greatest challenge of them all. So why not
have a go ”
Alkut is already a national inc-icer mountaineer. But to prepare for China’s highest peak, he never dropped
training for a day. Alkut ran 10 kilometers every morning before going to school, and took professional classes on
weekends. Before he set out for the top of Qomolangma, his father served as his coach and cheerleader, telling
him to hold on if he wanted to realize his dream safely. And his mother encouraged him on video chat when he
was experiencing illness because of low oxygen level.
It took Alkut days to reach the top and he had to camp in really bad weather. Sometimes, fear hit him when
he saw frozen bodies of climbers who failed. Sad, strange thoughts caught him when the air got very thin.
