宾语从句的时态
当主句是现在时态时，从句可以根据实际情况选择不同时态。当主句是过去时态时，从句一般使用相应的过去时态。
时态运用

She says that her brother is a doctor.
她说她哥哥是一名医生。
I know that they are having a meeting now.
我知道他们现在正在开会。
当主句是过去时态时，从句一般使用相应的过去时态。过去时态包括一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时和过去完成时。
He said that they were playing basketball at 8 p.m. yesterday.
他说他们昨天晚上 8 点正在打篮球。
The teacher told us that she had taught English for 10 years.
老师告诉我们她已经教了 10 年英语。
当宾语从句为客观事实、客观真理时，要用一般现在时。
Newton proved that objects fall towards the earth.
