The festival falls on the fourth day of the six month of the lunar calendar, usually lasting for three days. I experienced The Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown for the first time this year. The Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of lunar calendar, usually lasting for three days and it is so exciting.
On the first day, I was surprised to see a great number of people to celebrate it . Some were preparing for reunion dinner, some were enjoying Zongzi and others admiring the Dragon Boat race on Tv. After the opening ceremony/after a while, the children danced onto yard, waving their arms as if they were merry elves.
In a word, to participate in The Dragon Boat Festival festival is worthwhile for me and I can’t wait for the next time./it was an enjoyable and meaningful experience for me.
