On a wild mountain, two goats met on a small road just over a high cliff (悬崖). It was so narrow (窄的) that they couldn’t pass each other or turn around and go back. A huge rock rose straight above them and a deep dark hole lay below! What do you think the two goats did

Recently, a robot has caught many people’s attention. Short videos of it doing housework at home became really popular on the Internet.
Made by a group of scientists, this robot can do many different chores. In the videos, it can cook according to what people ask it to do. It can cut up vegetables and cook eggs. It can also do other housework, like watering plants, petting cats, cleaning the floor, and washing clothes. It even knows how to fill up a pillow (枕头) and then shake it.
But another video shows something not so good. The robot carelessly breaks glasses and plates, runs into a table, and even burns a pot. The kitchen becomes a mess. It seems that the idea of having a robot as a servant may just be wishful thinking. Scientists have been working hard on this. According to the research, the robot can successfully move chairs 80 percent of the time. For cooking dishes, it’s only 40 percent. Clearly, it still has a long way to go.
The robot doesn’t have the self-learning ability and it isn’t good at doing housework on its own. Instead, it learns from human actions before doing each kind of housework. When things change, it can’t work well without a human “teaching” it. It may easily end up making trouble.
In fact, AI robots can do better in tasks that need higher reasoning ability, such as doing the math and playing chess.
