Planning Makes Success
Last semester, our school announced a history presentation competition a week before the deadline. While classmates panicked, I stayed calm and made a plan.
Day 1-2: I chose “The Silk Road” as the topic and outlined key points—origins, routes, and cultural impacts. Days 3-4: I collected photos of ancient relics and wrote a script, timing each section to fit the 8-minute limit. Days 5-6: I practiced delivering it, asking my sister to critique my tone and gestures.
On the competition day, most presenters fumbled with disorganized notes. I spoke smoothly, weaving stories with visuals, and won first prize.
This taught me planning means breaking tasks into steps and preparing ahead. Like a map guiding a traveler, a clear plan turns chaos into order. Success belongs to those who think ahead.
